PRAISE GOD!!!!!! She is done and did beautifully!!!!!! He was very impressed with this little girl, but then again who doesn't leave Mae's side and not feel God's love. We just finished speaking with Dr Q and we should see her in about an hour or so. Thank God for this adorable little blessing that is still making an impression on others even when she is the one needing the help. Praise God!

Our sweet baby is still asleep. We have been with her for the past 2+ hours. She opened her eyes wide once and asked me to please take all this stuff off of her, but quickly fell back asleep. She will nod when you ask her questions but is doing a good job letting her body rest and heal. She was itching her legs and requested some lotion from mommy which of course I rubbed her all down so now she smells great too. :)
All of her levels look great! Everyone is amazed at all this little one has gone through during the past 5 years and we tell them that is all part of God's amazing plan for this little girl. We know she has the power of God inside of her to fight with only half of her heart working for these past 5 years, so we have no doubt that God's strength will continue to help her progress well during her recovery. Thanks to all of you for your prayers, support, encouraging words, and love today and always! It has made a world of difference.

We made it through the first night okay but not a lot of sleep. Mae wanted me close. Grandmom slept about 4 hours, and I slept about 2, but both interrupted due to lots of checkups, beeping monitors, and a baby who was a little sad. Mae is finally allowed a little pineapple. If she keeps that down then she can eat pancakes; I pray she does because she is starving. She sat on the edge of the bed for a couple of minutes which is the first step towards getting up and walking today. She looks nice & pink! We get a smile every once in a while and she is starting to talk a little here and there, but not her normal chatty self yet. Everyone is excited to see how well she is doing for having her Fontan yesterday. Thanks for the prayers and encouraging words, they have been amazing!

Mae and I enjoying our cuddle time today. This is the first time I got to hold her so I really enjoyed it.
Mae's first walk. It was VERY HARD and really hurt but we are so proud of all her faith, strength, and determination!
After her walk, she no longer needed the oxygen since she proved to the nurses she is on the mend. As a reward she got to take off her nose tubes. Woohoo!!! Praise God for His healing hand on our sweet baby girl and for all His earth angels that He has here at All Children's.
